Inside the church building
Fire Safety & Access
North door should be kept locked for security concerns as access is close to the road.
In any EMERGENCY use the main door key to unlock it.
Main door to be left unlocked when people are inside the building overnight.
When the building is left unattended between 4.30p.m. and 9a.m. the main door must be locked.
- Kitchen area
Floor slabs uneven
Take care with hot water heater – please do NOT adjust the tap. (see notice)
Electric kettles/all other electrical items (e.g. chargers ) - turn off when not in use.
Fire extinguisher on wall by safe.
Nave
Slabs uneven by the font, which has protruding step.
Fire extinguisher by the bookcase.
- Organ Vestry
Please DO NOT touch the organ, organ stops or organ pump.
Please DO NOT touch controls for heating/lighting.
Visiting Public Lavatory in the night
Always take a torch.
Do not go alone!
Take extra care when crossing the bridge over the stream.
Turn right out of the porch, exit through main gate, cross the bridge - walk up to Village Green.
The Village Hall will be facing you.
Follow the path up the right hand side of the Village Hall to the lavatory block at the rear.
Churchyard
N. & E. gates onto main road both have steps.
Beware of traffic on the dangerous bend!!
